Love this. What is the name of that painting today?

Bill McGarvey -- December 23rd, 2009 at 12:20 pm

The Painting is “The Annunciation,” 1898, by Henry Ossawa Tanner. Many of Tanner’s paintings were of religious subjects. In this masterful painting of the Annunciation, he represented the Angel Gabriel as a column of light.

It is part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s collection.
