Some people give time, some money, some their skills and connections, some literally give their life’s blood. But everyone has something to give. — Barbara Bush

Fast from giving excuses about why you can’t help others.

Pray in thanks for good health. If you or someone you love is ill, pray for patience and  strength for a healthy recovery.

Give blood to a local blood bank or become a volunteer to help at one.

After Lent, tune in to BustedHalo.com every day for our Daily Jolts and MicroChallenges!

Giving blood in a rural location is not such a quick thing to do. I have to call and make an appointment, and drive to a larger center to do so. This is my excuse which I will probably stick with because I almost pass out when I simply get blood tests done.

Lindsay, giving blood is a quick and easy thing to do. I cannot count the number of times I have donated. Make sure you have something to eat before you go and just relax. The staff are always so nice and gentle. The hardest part of donating is filling out the long questionnaire prior to donating!

Giving blood will be a tough but not entirely unexpected challenge for me. I’ve never done it before, but there is a blood bank right near my house.

Just out of curiosity, what’s happening with our FastPrayGive bowls this year? We’ve only been told to use them once so far.
