Most serious Catholics have no problem with such a person. The problem comes when said person insists in engaging in sexual perversion, and expecting everyone to affirm such, or starts to scandalize others (and their families) by promoting and demanding the affirmation of sexual perversion. THAT is evil, and will go nowhere with serious Christians. As with all serious Christians, homosexuals should pick up their cross and carry it daily, just like all the rest of us do - and recognize that suffering turned over to God is meant to bring us closer to God.
