What has to happen once I've completed the Spiritual Exersizes and this is my second summer still wanting to go to learn more to become a Spiritual Director. What is the sequence to become a Spiritual Director?

I have noticed that despite a wide variety of opinion over politics, interests and approaches, there is a distinctive analytical style and consistent set of axioms that go with Jesuit teaching.

I am very curious to find out if the Exercises inspired that mode of thought.

For any religious faith to be relevant, one needs to feel a connection to God. I'm so pleased to see St. Ignatius's exercises being promoted.

I wish I were still in a program trainig spiritual directors. Jim Conroy's interview is just what we needed in introducing the Exercises. It's full of material that not only covers all the basics but is at the same time very readable. I will, in fact, alert some friends who run training programs.
