<description>I would say for the most part, most people have no idea what their habits are doing to their body over time when it comes to nutrition, fitness, exercise, and taking care of the body given to them. And then the holidays being a normal time to party and have fun and indulge it ends up being a annual 2 or 3 months of even more unhealthy habits that build up that waistline to a point that people in their early 30s are having to get looked at for high blood pressure, cholesterol, stroke, diabetes, or the opposite of bulimia and anorexia for those who starve themselves.

I agree with balance and moderation. And just to be functional as an athlete or as a parent or grandparent: people should eat to have a body that is capable of doing work. We all want to be able to dance, play with the grandkids, have fun, run, and do whatever jobs god has called us to do. But if we destroy our body then we severely limit our ability to fulfill god&#039;s plans for our lives: not a life full of woe, but a future full of hope.

There is a ton of good information on nutrition, fitness, exercise, as well as moderation, balance, and having a peacefulness to accept where we are at and not have to eat out of anxiety or fear. I suggest seeking out a personal trainer or nutritionist who can point you in the right direction.

my motto during the holidays is have a taste of all the stuff you like for thanksgiving and Christmas, but do not overdo it, and eat slowly, take your time and enjoy the conversation and have fun with the family and friends.
