James Martin, SJ for this awesome commentary on St. Bernadette. And, Thank you Busted Halo for including it in this online magazine! I really felt touched and inspired. The first thing that I can recall from this article n' video was the connection between my two years of French back in high school, and how I first learned (a few years ago) where Lourdes is (in southern France). I would like to travel there sometime, as I begin my venture through transitioning from "teen" to "young adult" to "adult", I would like to take hold of my family's Catholic up bringing, and further my spirituality faith in being independent from my parents, while still being "dependent" on God, as he guides me (and all) in what he wants of our vocation!
