And I think you've summed up the feelings of many of us. Being a patriot means appreciating what this country has offered us, but it does not have mean that we are blind to it's shortcomings. Likewise, criticizing America does not mean that we don't love this country. My parents came here for a reason: they wanted their children to have a better life than they could have had in their home country. Not a perfect life without struggle, but a better life with greater opportunities. I've no doubt that my parents made the right decision. Excellent!
