I always thought that once a day was the limit on receiving the Eucharist until I became a cantor back in the early sixties and participated in up to 3 massaes on a sunday. Back in those days I did both readings and the sung pslam in between. Today you can’t “cross ministeries” but I do at weddings when
I cantor and a reader doesn’t show up for the 1st or 2nd reading.
Now at Sacred Heart Church in Norfolk VA I cantor on weekends at 5:30PM Saturday and 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Sunday and receive communio at all three masses.
