#402 – Is it fine to have a mixed marriage?

podcast-interfaithBusted Halo Intern Vincent joins us for this week’s podcast where we answer a question about interfaith marriage in the Catholic Church. And we have some suggestions for discussing your faith — no matter what that might be — with your significant other. Coming Attractions — Jesus calls us, like a shepherd calls his sheep. Can we hear his voice amidst the other noise in your lives? Church Search visits St. Patrick’s Church in Pelham, New Hampshire, and — BONUS! — Our Lady Help of Christians in Staten Island where Dorothy Day was baptized and Intern Vincent went to middle school. Please join us in praying for Vincent and other students who are studying and taking final exams right now. Good luck!

Believers marrying non-christians is not a good idea as St. Paul revealed. Catholics have set themselves up as the “innovators and advancers” of the faith with the concept of the “original deposit of faith theory”, and the difference between christians and catholics is growing with every century. At some point, it may be that catholics can only marry other catholics to avoid having the family split up on Sundays since they won’t find a christian spouse that feels comfortable at the catholic mass.
Satan succeeded in splitting christianity and muting God’s word to some degree so far. Bible christians won’t accept anything but the Bible due to the injury of all the “innovations” of the catholics, which results in muting God’s word on the rest of the tradition for them, and catholics keep plowing forward with their continued efforts to read the mind of God with greek philosophy. Satan is watching us split and fighting with a big bowl of popcorn; it’s his favorite movie!
