I would think Newt would have had to have had two declarations of nullity, unless his wives were Catholic and they were married outside of the Church. Then it would be lack of form. Non Catholics must have declarations of nullity prior to entering the Catholic Church if they are remarried.

Great Podcast! I thought that if a person has two divorces they would only need the first marriage annulled because the second marriage would be seen as invalid due to the fist divorce….
