Jesuit Brother Guy Consolmagno has been a lecturer at Harvard University and MIT; has served in the US Peace Corps teaching physics at the University of Nairobi; and was a physics professor at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, before entering the Jesuits in 1989. An astronomer and curator at the Vatican Observatory for more than 20 years, Brother Guy was awarded the 2014 Carl Sagan Medal for outstanding communication by an active planetary scientist by the American Astronomical Society.
