I am the secretary at our fairly small church in Ohio. I love our parish. We have very generous parishioners, very decent people. I am, however, put off by our parishioners wearing jeans and shorts as ministers at mass. I know their hearts are in the right place, but wish they would go the extra mile to show respect for the sacrament of the mass.
How important is dress at mass and, in the, end does God care?

It is possible to dress fashionably and modestly. There is a protestant author (Shari Braendel) who wrote a book for women/girls that gives great pointers on dressing well, even on a budget. It would be great to see a resource for men/boys, too.
