Tuesday of the Thirtieth Week in Ordinary Time. Not only does St. Paul tell husbands to “love their wives as Christ loved the church,” but even furthermore “to love their wives as their own bodies.” A difficult but nealry divine cause indeed. (Preached on Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 at St. Paul the Apostle Church, New York City)
