Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow from Mary’s Meals

Father Dave interviews Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow, founder and CEO of Mary’s Meals, a global charity that feeds more than one million children every school day in some of the world’s poorest communities. He’s been named one of CNN’s Top 10 Heroes, made it to Time magazine’s list of the top 100 influential people in the world, and was invited to the Vatican by Pope Francis to receive a personal blessing from the Holy Father himself. Magnus’ book, “The Shed That Fed a Million Children” explains his incredible mission. He discusses the film “Child 31,” an inspirational short film about the work of Mary’s Meals, and the current crisis in Malawi that they are concentrating on now. (Original Air 09-23-16)
