The New Mass commission was headed by the Progressivist Fr. Anibale Bugnini and included six Protestants. They threw out the ancient Latin rite and centuries of accumulated Catholic tradition, and made up a brand new one. Bugnini was later exiled from the Vatican because of his ties with Freemasonry. Dr. Smith, one of the Lutheran representatives at the commission and publicly boasted, “We have finished the work that Martin Luther began.”

I am a cradle born Catholic that was an altar boy and study for the priesthood. I saw and heard the Vatican two council. With the changes we lost many priest and laity. It was devastating. The Mass of "62" was concidered OK even in the venecular but the changing of the words of consecration and other statements that could verge on heresy. ex: "Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again " illudes to the idea that Christ is not always with us. Anyway, I love my Catholic faith and do not concider myself a rebel. I am just scared that we have lost a lot and maybe entering into Dan: chap 12 The latin Mass has never been abregated and the "Bull Pro Quimum" still stands.??? Please help a struggling Catholic understand why ???
