    I liked this. Very creative and TELLING of what we know about our faith. I imagine quite a few people, especially Catholics, are going to be dusting off their Catechisms right about now!

    he also may have taken the name Francis for St. Francis Xavier who was the co-founder of the Jesuit order. Pope Francis may have picked the name because of both Saint Francis’

      He actually made a statement during a press conference that he specifically chose it for St Francis of Assisi, because St Francis lived his life caring for the poor and other charitable causes, as well as for animals. Every year on October4th, the feast day of St Francis, many churches have a Blessing of the Animals.
