Fr. Mark-David Janus, CSP, Ph.D., president and publisher of Paulist Press, from Rochester, NY, was educated at St. John Fisher College, Catholic University of America, and U. of Connecticut, where he received his doctorate. He has taught on child and adolescent psychiatry at Indiana School of Medicine, the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. As the author of 3 books and more than 70 peer-reviewed papers, he has focused his scientific work on the assessment and understanding of trauma in young people.
