Chistmas in March? There may have been a census going on when Jesus was born, but that doesn't mean we have a copy of his birth certificate. The early Church didn't celebrate Christ's birth, and once people decided they should, dates in January, March, and November (and more) where considered. Settling on December 25 was related to pagan celebrations of various gods of the sun. Christmas was an alternative to these already established festivities.
