Why isn't Baby Jesus in the manger? It’s not time to file a missing person’s report. It’s tradition for the Baby Jesus to be absent from the creche or manger scene during Advent. The Season of Advent is about waiting for Jesus to arrive on Christmas, afterall. So, we wait for him to take his place in our Christmas decor, too.
