It’s not that often that the First Sunday of Lent coincides with the Oscars ceremony, but it does happen from time to time, (a side-effect of both having floating mid-February through March dates). This year happens to be one of those times. Because we’ve all just jump-started our Lents this past Wednesday with some ashes, fasting and abstinence but are now forced to switch gears to the excessiveness of Hollywood celebrating itself, we thought we’d help ease your transition from the desert into the Hollywood Hills by presenting our own nominations in various categories of all things Lent.
