Thursday of the Second Week in Ordinary Time. In today’s first reading, we hear the story of Saul becoming jealous of David. Father Dave asks, “Wouldn’t it be great if we could be happy for someone else’s success or good fortune?” He goes on to explain that in the Gospel, Jesus challenges us to love, to forgive, and devote ourselves to God.
