Don’t Write Yourself out of the Script

Fourth Sunday of Advent. What role does Saint Joseph play in our faith? Father Dave says that we shouldn’t write Joseph out of the Jesus story because he’s a critical example of following God’s plan. Like Joseph, we should be more willing to accept the role that God has for us, even when it doesn’t always make sense. Preached at St. Paul the Apostle Church, New York City on 12-18-16.
