Ha ha! This quote today is awesome! It hit a little close to home because our parish priest has been giving some pretty pompous, condemning homilies lately. So I’ve been struggling with going to Sunday mass.

I was just having a conversation with a fellow parishioner, noting that the older generation has been able to continue their faithful practices despite a multitude of not-so-awesome priests in our parish. I asked my grandpa how he does it, and he said something like the priest isn’t the mass.

This quote today has helped me put things into perspective a little more. Thanks!
