Father Dave explains, “For centuries we had three different Mysteries of the Rosary. They are the Glorious, the Sorrowful, and the Joyful mysteries. The concept is that the repetition of the words on our lips are supposed to allow our hearts and souls to go deeper in prayer… During the papacy of John Paul II he added a whole new set of Mysteries to the Rosary, the Luminous Mysteries. While there are mysteries assigned to different days of the week, you don’t have to follow a schedule to pray. For someone who is just starting out with the Rosary, don’t worry about whether or not you are praying the right or the wrong ways. There is no wrong way to do it.” (Original Air 11-09-16)
