Good morning father, I was just asking myself this question yesterday; thank you so much for answering it for me!

Still don’t need to placed on the head. Hand would work fine. I see the meanest people walk around with ashes – If you feel the need to do it, Celebrate internally and externally.

    • Teresa Flusche’

It’s symbolic of repenting your sins…not a sign of your holiness

      • Pat Hopkins

        so do it privately.

Its a matter of personal preference. Some folks like to keep everything to themselves, but i am thankful for those who are not ashamed to spread the Good News.
When others see the ashes after service on Ash Wednesday that are unchurched, if they ask, it gives us an opportunity to share. If the evidence is hidden out of sight (and ON THE INSIDE), you lose the opportunity to share!!!

Too fast! Loved the video but, leave Lone Ranger & Tonto out. That was odd. Agree w/ community part but, odd people to choose.

No they are not cristians are Christians Catholics are Catholics

Pretty sure Heaven is NOT separated into the different religions. And Also, Christianity is NOT about what religion you are, but what you believe and who you believe in. A Catholic is just as much a Christian as a Baptist or a Methodist. My sister and I went into a Christian book store one day looking for a gift for a person who was making their first communian and was told something along the same lines as your statement. We turned around and walked out. It took me about 15 yes to go back n that store due to that statement. So, if u believe that a Catholic is not a Christian u may want to go and study up on Christianity. Sorry, I’ll get off my soapbox now.

  • Katia

    Catholics ARE Christians.

So many people have downloaded this video recently that the site won’t let anyone else do it for 24 hours! Glad that it’s so popular, but bad for me. :-(

A good problem to have but sorry it happened! A second copy is available until the first one is freed up again. See the link above.

I enjoyed the Lent in 2 minutes very much but I agree with others that it was too fast. Might have been better as Lent in 2.5/3 minutes or cut something out. However, don’t cut out Tonto or the Lone Ranger!

Very informative. But, I like most,
felt that it played much to fast. I am a fast reader. And, I had to replay twice. Please slow down. On a positive point, a very good a information to the point presentation! Thank you !
