Father Dave Dwyer Honored With Personal Achievement Gabriel Award

Busted Halo is thrilled to share that Father Dave Dwyer has been awarded among the Personal Achievement Gabriel Award, given to a figure in Catholic media who, through their life and work, embodies and shares the message of Jesus Christ. As someone who consistently offers light in the midst of suffering and encouragement in the face of hardship, and uses his media talents to do so, Father Dave shows us each day how to joyfully live the Gospel in the world today.

Many have shown their appreciation for Father Dave, and have shared the impact he has had on their faith lives. Whether he is conversing with listeners on The Busted Halo Show, or answering your questions of faith on a Facebook Live broadcast, Father Dave consistently meets the faithful where they are, and encourages them to embrace the Gospel and discern where God is working in their own lives.

“I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact that Father Dave has on those who come in contact with him,” Busted Halo Editor-in-Chief Jennifer Sawyer says. “His missionary spirit, humor, and enthusiasm for sharing the joy of our Catholic faith makes him the perfect recipient of this award.”

We are grateful to the Catholic Media Association and Gabriel Awards committee for recognizing the contributions Father Dave has made to the Catholic media landscape through his work with SiriusXM, BustedHalo.com, and the Archdiocese of New York.
