Fatherly Advice: Attending a New Parish

Have you ever wondered if your parish community is right for you? As Catholics, our main focus in going to church is the celebration of Mass, but sometimes the human aspect of the church experience is what helps us thrive in our faith. A large church community may suit one Catholic, while a small and personal community may suit another. In this podcast, Father Dave shares some advice with a woman who doesn’t quite feel at home in her parish. As our caller says, going to church is not about the social aspect, but is about “hearing and participating and celebrating in the beauty of Mass.” But if you are true to your faith and still find that something is missing, perhaps it’s time for a change.
